POSITION SUMMARY

As the Digital Copywriter responsible for the Fenty Skin brand, you will be part of the digital copywriting team at Fenty, dedicated to optimizing brand and campaign content to drive the business. You thrive in a fast-paced digital environment and take pride in seeing the impact generated by your writing—in email subject lines, paid social posts, and more. In this role, you’ll be responsible for digital copy assets for Fenty Skin: Website updates, product pages, paid social, paid search, blog posts, SMS, and email. You have a passion for and deep understanding of skincare and bring that expertise through in all of your writing. Your copy is clear and clever with a sense of humor that stays with ‘em. You’re very detail-oriented but can also keep the big picture in mind; and you thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

The Fenty Skin Digital Copywriter reports into the Fenty Global Copy Director

YOU WILL:

• You will provide all digital copywriting content, including website updates, product pages, email, paid social, blog posts and other SEO-related content
• Partner closely with the Fenty Global Copy Director to optimize brand & campaign copy for digital channels
• Partner with the design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and find integrated visual/copy solutions
• Implement the brand voice seamlessly across all digital channels
• Stay current on beauty industry trends, social trends and competitors
• Take ownership of deadlines and follow project schedules and updates
• Execute clean, detail-oriented, on-brief copy
• Attend project kick-offs, examine various types of project briefs, paying close attention to marketing objectives and copy requests

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience implementing learnings from digital metrics (email open rates, conversion, A/B testing, etc.) a plus
• Minimum of 5 years’ copywriting experience, digital preferred
• Beauty experience preferred
• Creative self-starter; ability to navigate a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ease and polish in presenting in a variety of settings: small/large groups, managers, formal presentations
• Knowledge of SEO and search tools a plus
• Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding of current skincare trends
• Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
• College degree: BA or equivalent experience preferred
