The RL organization includes Quest and Portal products, augmented and virtual reality software and content, and research and development labs. We plan to release multiple products and technologies over the next few years that will define new categories and advance Meta's mission of bringing the world closer together.
The Reality Labs Product Marketing team is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Communications Maanger supporting Project Aria who can develop strategic marketing plans for products leveraged by research and development partners across the globe.
You’ll find success because you will know how to set a compelling strategic vision, organize cross-functional teams around a plan to execute that vision, and influence leaders around the company. You will lead messaging strategies for innovative technologies and create compelling assets to tell their story. You’re a true collaborator who thrives in dynamic and ambiguous environments where moving fast and prioritizing for impact are a must.
You’ll also bring a passion for working at the intersection of breakthrough technologies and evolving societal attitudes towards how these products show up in the world. You’ll want to create a future where we strike the right balance between these tensions and help demonstrate what responsible innovation looks like.
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing/communications/policy experience.
•7+ years experience in product marketing or a related field.
•5+ years experience creating unique marketing plans to reach core stakeholders.
•Experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting structure or informally through influence.
•Experience developing product messaging, particularly with novel or future-looking technologies.
•Strong background in copywriting, particularly in research case studies and/or white papers.
•Experience creating and executing unique marketing strategies and developing strong assets including videos, white papers and case studies.
•Combination of strategic marketing experience and hands-on tactical execution.
•Ability to operate in a fast-paced, iterative and independent environment.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience working on products used by research communities and academics.
•Experience with B2B marketing tactics including events and webinars.
•Ability to operate independently; experience working with small teams or in lean/startup environments.
•Experience partnering closely with product teams to influence product strategy and roadmaps.
