Junior Cloud Engineer Jobs

Overview:

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Managed Services Practice. This position will provide an opportunity to work with an experienced team of Cloud Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Cybersecurity professionals. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow their career in the Cloud space by honing their cloud knowledge and skillset. This position is based in Credence’s corporate headquarters located in Tyson’s Corner in Vienna, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Assist team with OS updates, upgrades, and patches as well as maintaining our enterprise Active Directory.
• Assist Team in wide scope of functionalities including but not limited to (Windows management, AWS Networking management, Linux Management and User Management)
• Assist team members by providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise for complex problems.
• Administrate and manage cloud infrastructure for a DoD client.
• Collaborate with a team of Junior Cloud Engineers to support infrastructure support requests.
• Work with our team as a Junior Cloud Engineer in our AWS GovCloud environment servicing a DoD customer.
• Document any developed processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Ability to work and produce results in an agile and fast-paced environment with dynamic deadlines.
• Familiarity with common protocols including but not limited to: DNS, SMTP, HTTP(s), SFTP, SCP
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, powershell, JavaScript, Python (preferred))
• Experience with either Linux or Windows command line interface
• Familiarity with JSON or YAML object writing
• Must be clearable for DoD Public Trust or higher
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, Private Clouds etc.)
