Description:Our next Jr. Talent Buyer will be tasked with finding new, up-and-coming local and touring artists, acts to support various concerts around the country, and general office and show-related administrative and marketing duties! We're looking for someone that has a knowledge and passion for many different music genres, including Hip Hop, Rock, EDM, R&B, Urban AC, and more!

Job Requirements & Responsibilities Include:

• Researching new and upcoming bands to headline concerts and tours
• Writing/Processing contracts and effectively communicating terms of contracts to artists/agents/managers
• Developing proposals/plans for future events
• General administrative tasks (filing, organizing paperwork, facilitating phone calls/meetings)
• Working with those national, semi-national and local acts from initial point of contact through event
• Seeking out local bands to support various shows/showcases
• Maintaining and develop relationships directly with artists and their teams
• Assisting SHP with Booking Events with national, semi-national and local acts

Required Competencies/Skills

• Meticulous attention to detail
• Band/Artist Booking experience is a plus
• Wordpress knowledge is a plus
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond quickly to changes
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a level head in high pressure, fast-paced environment
• General Photoshop knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of R&B, Pop, Rock, EDM & hip hop genres
• General familiarity with the music industry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Education/Experience Required

• Minimum education level of: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• 1-2+ years experience in a live music venue, concert promotions company or concert booking agency required
