Job Description
A leading manufacturer in Monrovia is looking for a Business Analyst/Project Manager with analysis skills and at least one (2) years of current experience in a fast paced environment with the ability to multitask. This position is a work from home with some hours onsite position and will not sponsor H1B candidates.
Job Summary
Individual will be responsible for working with all functional business areas within the organization developing business solutions, implementation strategies and measurement tools to gauge the effectiveness of the business. This individual will be required to work with plant personnel, office personnel, management and executives. Travel between local facilities as well as travel within North America may be necessary.
Duties And Responsibilities Of a Business Analyst/project Manager
  • Understand and participate in the overall Life Cycle of each project
  • Complete other tasks as assigned
  • Involved in the project from the initial planning stages
  • Coordinate between all the various departments involved in a project
  • Reports to IT management
  • Great communication skills
  • Liaison with all the employees that are involved in the project.
  • Ability to gain technical understanding of the various departments
  • Hands on as well as a non-traditional work schedule as projects require
  • Prior project management role – associated with software development, IT support and functional business unit support.
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Follows up on a project after project completion
  • Reports status to all relevant management on the development of the project
  • Documentation management including meeting management, development and follow up for agendas' minutes, follows up action list and presentation materials.
  • Fully involved with the execution of the project
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, MS Project, MS Visio, PowerPoint, Excel.
Required Education/Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years progressively responsible experience in office or general administrative work, and one (1) year project coordination experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
Preferred
  • At least two (2) years of experience serving as a coordinator of project-related tasks.
