We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support multi-agency customers within the Department of Defense (DoD) on Hardened Facility Analysis of adversarial underground programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for multiple roles in a highly visible, fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who will take initiative and show a willingness to develop new skills, while working both independently and in a team environment with minimal direction. The work environment will allow the candidate to collaborate across technical and functional disciplines, as well as engage directly with diverse stakeholders. The candidate is encouraged to be creative in formulating improved workflow procedures to facilitate and communicate support to and across the program. The candidate will need to be able to work on multiple technical platforms and be able to apply sound judgment to complex planning, designing, technical, and organizational functions. Duties include ensuring that all projects run within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Primary Responsibilities:
Outreach Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute workshops, training, and other special outreach programs. Support pre-event surveys. Draft and coordinate agendas and meeting materials. Organize and plan logistics, security, transportation, and billeting. Provide on-site outreach support. Coordinate close-out activities to include drafting meeting notes and executive summaries. Develop standard procedures for future outreach activities. Occasional CONUS travel may be necessary to support outreach programs.
Procurement and Asset Inventory Management: Work closely with management and team leads to facilitate the forecasting and purchase of software, hardware, and services for a multi-million dollar program. Maintain and regularly update the in-house procurement online platform and develop and present purchasing metrics, as required by management. Conduct quarterly and annual inventory to maintain audit compliance with customer and corporate requirements.
Project Organization: Daily support to multi-agency customers through project engagements. Assist with developing, coordinating, and implementing customer and stakeholder meetings. Facilitate project support through multi-role collaboration with technical, security, and management personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in outreach coordination
- Ability to resolve complex, unclear problems and issues
- Strong team building, planning, and scheduling expertise
- Bachelors degree, with 4-8 years’ related experience in the intelligence and/or DoD communities
- Adept at working in a fast-paced environment
- Highly detailed oriented
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and customer relation skills
- TS/SCI with polygraph required for Position or TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a poly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of SharePoint
- Working knowledge of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)
- Experience working with the DoD, IC, and/or Combatant Commands
Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
