Job Description

The Junior Chief of Staff will support the Global COO of Wholesale Ops and the Regional Head of Performance Management. This is a permanent role with our client, a top investment bank in NYC.


Successful candidate must be able to synthesize information quickly and develop executive level presentations and reports, and lead the preparation of meeting agendas and materials for various leadership and team meetings.


Duties:

  • Help support or lead initiatives on a range of topics across the group globally
  • Create and maintain a culture that focuses on achieving strategic initiatives, open communication, integrity and professionalism
  • Assisting with financial analysis of business cases in various initiatives
  • Maintain an entrepreneurial mind-set and able to assist in developing solutions for problems


Skills:

  • Innovative mind-set with the desire to challenge the status quo and drive forward change
  • Desire to build strong business acumen and presentation skills
  • Very strong time management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar employment experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentations and speaking points
  • Financial services or management consulting experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Able to challenge and converse to help develop new ideas
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, excellent judgement and attention to detail
  • Interest in driving change across the division globally
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven track record of developing, maintaining strong trust based relationships with a variety of managers, large teams, and key decision making stakeholders
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects and competing requests simultaneously
  • Must be collaborative, strategic and energetic in their day to day
