About The Role


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Jr Business Development Rep to join our sales team. This role will primarily focus on managing SMB deals and engaging in outbound prospecting activities to identify and nurture new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with potential customers, demonstrating product knowledge, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a competitive spirit, and a passion for achieving targets.


Overview Of Responsibilities And Duties


  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and deal progress in the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective pipeline management and closing of deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections promptly and professionally.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of opportunities, engaging with potential customers through various channels (phone, email, social media) to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Actively engage in cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead-generation activities to establish initial contact with potential customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position our products and services in the market.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills through training sessions and self-study.
  • Conduct prospecting to identify new business opportunities by researching and qualifying potential leads.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our offerings, tailoring presentations to match customer needs.

Qualifications


  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track customer interactions.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and driven individual with a competitive spirit.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • (Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach) experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels.

POSITION | EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK


  • Full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work may be variable depending on business needs.
  • Occasional evening work may be required as job responsibilities demand.


Physical Requirements


  • Exposure to moderate to loud noise and light as typical in a manufacturing environment.
  • Indoor position that requires sitting at a computer for an extended period.
  • Travel to vendors, conferences, company meetings, and other events may be required.
