Information Technology Support Technician
California Closets NY seeks a junior level IT professional with python scripting knowledge to become an integral part of our IT team. Come help us maintain a solid technical infrastructure that will support our growth. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of IT.
Responsibilities:

• Test and certify new versions of windows operating systems providing better solutions and integration for the application like VMware and SharePoint.
• IT support for desktop, laptop, mobile, printers, and other network-attached devices
• This position will require some travel to our other locations.
• End user support for typical office applications, email, and cloud storage
• Create, document, and maintain business continuity practices including local backups, power management, firewall monitoring, etc.
• Level 1 user support for proprietary in-house CAD and CRM applications
• Maintain and support multi-site windows environment along with hardware and software configuration.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions: work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud products: O365, SharePoint
• Mobile device expertise – iOS and Android
• Experience with backup routines and protocols
• Basic understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN, TCP/IP, UDP
• Knowledge of phone and security systems
• Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of Windows networking experience
• SQL database and query writing
• Knowledge of LAN, internet, and computer security
• MSP background is a big plus
• CAD Software and automated engineering/machining processes

• Experienced phone manners and patience when working with end users.
• Clean, professional, and friendly personality
• Organized self-starter who can handle multiple competing priorities without a lot of supervision.
