Job Description
General Purpose:
Administers and serves as a liaison for various HR functions. Acts as Network Specialist to resolve issues related to Microsoft operating systems, Apple mobile products and agency hardware/software. Acts as agency HIPPA Security Officer for the ongoing management of information security policies, procedures, and technical systems in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all organizational healthcare information systems.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist with coordination of the benefit enrollment and onboarding process.
  • Support leadership to identify, contain, and prevent future computer security breaches.
  • Participate in New Hire Orientation as requested.
  • Perform ongoing information risk assessments and audits to ensure that information systems are adequately protected and meet HIPAA certification requirements.
  • Install and configure software and hardware.
  • May have access to personal health information ("PHI") necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities.
  • Lead information security awareness and training initiatives to educate workforce about information risks.
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining passwords and employee email accounts.
  • Work with system consultants to upgrade and maintain hardware, software, and other applications.
  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned by manager.
  • Key coordinator of the annual open enrollment process.
  • Identifying and resolving issues related to computer and network connectivity.
  • Work with vendors, outside consultants, and other third parties to improve information security within the organization.
  • Provide technical support to clarify system problems.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting desktop environments running Microsoft Windows operating systems, as well as Apple Mobile Device systems and management.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • HR experience a plus.
  • 2 years IT support experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent training and certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service, organizational, and detail skills.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to communicate well both in written form and verbally.
