Job Description

A High Net Worth private family office is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Director to lead and manage our IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring the reliable, scalable, and secure operation of our network, servers, storage, and related systems. The IT Infrastructure Director will focus on aligning the IT infrastructure vision with the overall business objectives, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and effective technology services.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy that supports the organization's goals and objectives.

2. Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional team and stakeholders across the organization to identify technology needs, gather requirements, and ensure seamless integration of IT solutions and services into their workflows, ultimately driving process improvements and achieving organizational objectives.

3. Oversee the planning, design, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure, including network, servers, storage, and security systems.

4. Provide leadership and direction to the Infrastructure team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development of staff.

5. Establish and maintain Infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the IT infrastructure utilizing ITIL practices.

6. Collaborate with executive management and other stakeholders to identify and address technology infrastructure needs and opportunities.

7. Manage IT infrastructure resources and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality solutions.

8. Ensure the organization's IT infrastructure is compliant with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

9. Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of the IT infrastructure.

10. Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions to improve the organization's IT infrastructure capabilities.

11. Lead IT infrastructure-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

3. Solid technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, server management, storage, and security systems.

4. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies and managing IT infrastructure projects.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.

6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, focused on achieving results and meeting organizational objectives.

7. Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to IT infrastructure management and data security.

8. Relevant professional certifications, such as CCNA, CISSP, ITIL are considered an asset.

9. Willingness to travel up to 25% per year, which will include overnight stays and travel to various locations within the organization.

10. Must be available for after-hours support in case of emergencies to ensure timely and effective response to critical network and security issues that may arise outside of regular business hours. This includes weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed, to maintain the stability and security of our organization's IT environment.
