Responsibilities:

• IT inventory management: Keep track of hardware, software, and peripherals, ensuring proper documentation and timely replenishment as needed.
• Documentation and knowledge sharing: Develop user guides, knowledge base articles, and training materials to promote self-service and enhance user experience.
• Computer setup and troubleshooting: Assist new employees in setting up their computers, installing necessary software, and configuring network connectivity.
• User support: Respond promptly to user inquiries, provide technical guidance, and offer solutions to IT-related challenges.
• Collaboration and process improvement: Work closely with the IT team to identify recurring issues, improve processes, and contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures.
• On-site support: Drive to various skilled nursing facilities to assist with IT needs and serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues.
• Software and system updates: Assist in implementing software updates, patches, and security enhancements to ensure a secure and up-to-date IT environment.
• Basic troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Problem-solving abilities: Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues independently, ensuring minimal disruption to user productivity.
• Time management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Valid driver's license: Ability to travel to various skilled nursing facilities within the designated area.
• Customer service orientation: A proactive and customer-focused approach to IT support, with the ability to empathize and provide timely solutions.
• Technical skills: Proficient in desktop and laptop support, Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
