The IT Service Desk Technician will respond to and diagnose desktop, hardware and software enhancements and issues by working with teammates on service desk requests. They use all available resources (knowledgebase, online resources, peers, etc.) to research and develop a solution as well as document the problem recognition, research, and resolution steps for future use. They may serve as a resource of strong expertise for the resolution of more complex problems. As needed, they may be assigned application, server and network related project.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist other business and IT teams as assigned.
- Review, document, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Escalate when necessary.
- Respond to customer requests within expected Service Level Agreements.
- Provide coverage during assigned shifts to monitor issues coming into the Service Desk.
- Assist teammates with problem solving.
- Help maintain security access for information systems.
- Identify trends and communicate to management.
- Assist in the development of documentation for business and IT teammates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Must be proficient in the following: Microsoft O365, Active Directory
- Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Service Desk role
- QA and testing experience
