IT Helpdesk / Workplace Support - New York Onsite - Contract - Hedge Fund
We are partnering with a French Hedge Fund, with an office in New York City. They are looking for someone for an individual to work with the workplace support teams in mostly Paris, New York and San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Assist with and eventually carry out effective problem management, quality support, and installations.
Safeguard a high-level quality of the business applications, services and workstation environments given the responsibility of support.
Deal with incidents, requests, and more.
Work closely with the infrastructure manager and team, while keeping up to date thanks to a technology watch. The ability to follow and lead are essential.
Requirements:
Knowledge of the employee workstation environment, the system and network architecture, security, ability to identify incidents, the needs for change and the components involved (hardware, software).
Good knowledge about Enterprise information system.
Mastery of the architecture of the production system and its operation.
Mastery of different types of operating systems.
Good knowledge of safety procedures and constraints
Mastery of production methods and standards (ITIL)
Ability to manage providers, outsourcing companies
Microsoft Windows 10 / Office 2016 / Moving to O365
Diversified security layer on McAfee EPO workstations, MS ATA, certificate
Microsoft 2008 R2 Active Directory
File management via Microsoft DFS
Virtualized Infrastructure with 95% ESXi VMware
SCCM 2016 to deploy the Master and Workstation Applications
Microsoft Exchange 2010
IronPort and Sophos email filtering
Enterprise Vault for mail archiving
MDM Airwatch Solution
Cisco LAN Switching
Cisco Meraki WIFI Global Solution
TOIP Management and Video Conferencing on Cisco UCS
Planning via TMS / Cisco CMS and Tiger Reporting
Using the Varonis suite (DA, DP, DN, DCF)
Remote Access Management by VPN Portal, Pulse Client via RSA Strong Authentication
Beyond Trust remote support or equivalent remote support software
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder and must be living in New York City
