As an Inventory Planner you will be responsible for monitoring and planning inventory for Sonder's international growth. You will develop strategic plans to cover financial goals and support Inventory Management strategies. You will partner closely with a cross-functional team to develop demand and supply plans that utilize various growth forecasts, and manage inventory. You will also be forecasting inventory requirements down to individual SKU level as well as providing input to other aspects of the planning and allocation process.

AT SONDER YOU WILL:

• Develop both Supply and Demand plans for all relevant product categories
• Analyze and update SKU, category, and product type utilization rates
• Forecast SKU level plans for distributors and vendors on a regular basis
• Perform regular receipt reconciliation to validate and ensure inventory is flowing through correctly to specified timeframes
• Plan and monitor inventory and ensure sufficient stock is ordered and delivered to meet current and future onboarding demands
• Work closely with Merchandising team to insure assortment aligns with demand plans and AUC targets
• Create bottoms-up demand plans, tops-down financial planning, and inventory forecasts
• Prepare for monthly OTB presentations and Quarterly Budget Reviews

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
• Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skill
• Minimum 3 years Planning experience
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree required, or a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and open to learn new technical applications quickly
• Able to create and organize work and processes to get things done in the most efficient manner
• Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
• Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in retail math
