Inventory Manager Jobs

Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects. They will ensure that inventory control procedures are in place and adhered to in order to safeguard Avo inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and participate in quarterly Physical inventory
• Manage all inventory records, responsible for physical verification, regular reconciliations and general monitoring of inventory activity.
• Manage and maintain a cycle-counting schedule
• Provide supervision of employees in scheduling and daily activities
• Take ownership of all Materials in the stockroom including the kitted materials.
• Oversee the stockroom operations; must be able to perform all job functions of direct reports
• Maintain MRP settings for consumable material shelf minimums and maximums
• Directly oversee and manage all Rework & Return inventory.
• Work closely with Director of Materials to ensure quality documents match hardware every second of every day
• Works with Finance, Purchasing, and Planning to ensure inventory accuracy.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
• BS in business, accounting, manufacturing, or related discipline
• Experience operating within an ISO9001-certified company
• At least 5 years experience with management of Materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Highly organized and efficient at prioritizing workload
• Work full-time in a cleanroom environment
• Attributes: High attention to detail, organized, able to multitask, personable, motivated, willing to take initiative
• 5 years working with an ERP system (SAP preferred)
• At least 5 years management experience of small teams
• Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work in a technical engineering team environment
