Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager - Government RF & AV whose primary duties will include planning, organizing and directing domestic satellite, telecom and government sales/marketing activities to increase market penetration and market share.
- Assist with contract review and order processing as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Provide sales support to domestic satellite, telecom and government customers within assigned sales territory while assisting with other territories when necessary.
- Identify/establish new practices (marketing and sales) to enhance visibility and promote Quintech and Evertz in the domestic satellite, telecom and government market.
- Prepare quotations, product support, and manage client base through prospecting and servicing customers through telephone, personal contact and other means of communication.
- Identify government grants available to develop new products or to aid in contract awards.
- Identify specific domestic satellite, telecom and government programs/projects with potential sales opportunities.
- Prepare forecast of potential sales on a weekly basis to support sales and marketing goals.
- Develop relationships with key program managers and other relevant contacts to gather market intelligence on current and upcoming domestic satellite, telecom and government programs.
- Must have ability to travel as needed
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Must possess US Citizenship.
- Excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills along with the ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as excellent customer relations, customer service and presentation skills.
- Must have development of proposals in response to government issued RFP's and federal procurement process expertise.
- Must possess existing relationships with government contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field and/or a minimum of five years of work related experience.
- Prior sales experience is preferred
- Work requires a demonstrated ability to multi-task, especially in terms of planning/organizing, project and time management.
- Position requires demonstrated professionalism, poise, tact and diplomacy.
