PRODUCT DESIGNER -INTERNSHIP
This person assists higher-level industrial designers in the conceptualization and development of new products. Work is of moderate difficulty and limited scope with specific and detailed instructions. This person must create the documentation necessary to convey the design solution to higher level Industrial Designers through concept sketches, Alias product concepts, Alias renderings, product graphic labeling, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Cintiq sketches, Alias sketchbook or written reports to deliver aesthetically pleasing product design concepts.
EXPERIENCE
This position applies to all new hires that are college students or have just graduated.
EDUCATION
A candidate for this position will hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a major in Industrial Design, or in the process of getting this degree.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work to develop a basic understanding of the Outdoor Power Equipment category, including the competitive landscape and physical user needs.
• A component of this position will also include working as part of our UX/UI team. Projects will consist of a mix of on-product user interface (buttons, switches, bezels), embedded displays, and digital applications.
• Work with other designers to develop preliminary product concepts on potential new products or features.

Experience with Adobe XD or Figma preferred but not required.

• Maintain effective channels of communication with ID team personnel.
• Provide higher level Industrial Designers support as necessary.

FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT: The following training must be completed before full time hire can be considered:

• Acquire knowledge, understanding, and requirements to communicate electronically conceptual product design with other IndustrialDesigners.
• Acquire product knowledge.

This position will last till graduation or a predefined time length.
