Intermediate Cash Operations Analyst - Aegon Am

Position Overview: The Cash Operations team maximizes its understanding of the investment life cycle to validate, reconcile and publish start of day cash on behalf of the investment portfolio management team. The team is responsible for resolving exceptions and variances by working with others including external counterparties. The Cash Operations team is also responsible for initiating payments, recording subs/reds, collateral management and providing oversight to our securities lending program. As an Intermediate Cash Operations Analyst, you will fulfill all cash operations responsibilities with a focus on standard and gradually more complex tasks.
Responsibilities:

• Monitors, investigates, and resolves cash exceptions
• Complete customized process as assigned, including but not limited to: the oversite of bank loan process and break resolution, support of the general accounts private placement cash exception management, support of TBA cash collateral management, and backup of functions supporting the general accounts securities lending program
• Develop working relationships with other operational teams
• Monitor cash balances and ensure timely delivery of balances to Front Office
• Investigate issues during the accounting close process and collaborates directly with accounting and performance teams for resolution
• Responds to inquiries from front office
• Communicates with internal and external parties on large trade notifications to ensure Aladdin is updated appropriately

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent area
• 1-3 years of working experience
• Awareness of the investment lifecycle and/or experience in the asset management or banking industries
• Technical skills in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, Access, TEAMS

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Prior experience with Aladdin
