The role: InsideTrack Coaches work with undergraduate and graduate students all over the country, delivering our suite of coaching services via a range of media (phone, text, email, mobile technology). Since our students come from all backgrounds and walks of life, we’re focused on continuing to build and foster a team as diverse as the populations we serve. What The Job Entails


  • Using coaching skills to support students in overcoming roadblocks to their educational success
  • Coaching prospects and students on developing a plan to achieve their academic and career goals by assessing their values/goals, needs, and obstacles
  • Maintain accurate student information and required partnership qualitative insights in contact management systems
  • Connecting client partner value propositions to prospects and students by sharing relevant insights and information
  • Engage with a vibrant company culture dedicated to inclusion, learning, and student impact
  • Contribute to strengthening client universities by partnering with your manager and team to identify insights and recommendations for improving the student experience
  • Achieve performance results consistent with team benchmarks and client expectations
  • Use good judgment in escalating student situations to management
  • Working with HBCU/PBIs
  • Improve your coaching skills and manage your performance by pinpointing areas of growth, actively pursuing your professional development
  • Provide exceptional customer service, leaving a positive impression of the university and coaching with each student; this includes responding promptly to voicemails and emails in accordance with team guidelines
  • Assist students with career choices as individuals make decisions on returning to college and/or career paths, particularly related job displacement or career change
  • Support students in achieving their personal and professional goals of enrolling in college, successfully completing their degree and/or starting a career
  • Outreach students via telephone, email, texting, mobile app and social media to build relationships and to improve the student experience, increase engagement with coaching, and support partnership goals - including but not limited to student retention, enrollment conversion, or career outcomes
  • Deliver engaging, motivating, and informative coaching through multiple modes of communication to meet student needs
  • Using Consultative Sales to guide prospective students through the decision-making process
  • Assisting prospective students in effectively navigating admissions and enrollment processes to ensure they meet critical deadlines
  • Build meaningful relationships with diverse student populations, which can include adult learners, first-generation college students, returning students, etc.
  • Communicate professionally with client counterparts
  • Working closely with the client university staff to create a cohesive experience for students as they navigate the enrollment process and complete their coursework
  • Maximize the success of your assigned roster of students by: 1) navigating our internal platform to maintain current student information; 2) prioritizing student outreach; 3) managing your time effectively

  • Experience earning a degree - Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort representing the client university and InsideTrack in all interactions
  • Excellent phone, email, and texting communication

This role is open to fully remote applicants based on certain conditions (see more details in the “Workplace” heading below).

Compensation: $45,000 Annually (Non-Exempt)


Career Path Opportunities: Coaches are eligible for promotion to Student Success Specialist & Coach after completing Coach Certification and accruing at least 18 months of employment tenure.
