The Inside Sales Manager job responsibility is to implement the marketing and sales strategy for the inside sales channel. You will lead the Inside Sales organization with marketing & sales information, tools, and content to expand sales and improve processes to achieve business financial goals, new business growth and profitability.
You Will:
- Recruitment for future openings, as we look to expand opportunities, and to look for future career trajectory for individuals as they become ready for the next role
- Customer/Prospect Engagement
- Measurement
- Increase outbound lead generation through digital strategy and traditional mailings for driving leads
- Train, coaches, and manages internal sales team of representatives
- Support other IST projects
- Develop strategies including other inside sales channels, and field sales teams to help grow overall product results
- Provide sales optimization tools, best practices, sales tools training
- Provide weekly KPIs to measure success and ongoing refinement of processes
- Provide the sales team with the resources necessary to sell more effectively and engage the target buyer at the right time
- Monitor staff development, performance management and sales incentive
- Sales Effectiveness
- Outlines team rankings on a routine basis to ensure performance across all territories
- Achieve results by using sales analytics and CRM documentation of account and performance on a routine basis
- Handle calls from difficult accounts
- Mid-level engagement with prospective customers through oversight, account-based marketing and targeting of targeted call points through-out each office
- Improve overall marketplace awareness of brand and value proposition. Direct all marketing tactics associated with customer/prospect engagement and lead generation improvements for entire inside sales organization. Working with Marketing colleagues to ensure agreement for best strategic approaches
- Use 8 x 8 observation tools to understand important performances and opportunities for improvement. This also includes the observation tool to observe actual calls and to give feedback for recognition and improvement coaching
- Cover open important open account coverage when open territories occur
- Provide this weekly report to management with observations of activities and results by all team members
- Work cross functionally with field sales, marketing, market access, sales training, operations and business analytics to improve service levels and performance
- Develop annual compensation strategy for the Team, and includes main sales spiffs that will be used specific results
- Determine which lead strategies are producing the greatest results for our company
You Have:
- Experience with process development and project management
- 2+ years of Internal and/or external sales experience
- Education required: BS or BA Degree
- Love for data and numbers
- Pass a background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction, educational and driving records.
- Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience
