Information Security Analyst - Secret Clearance - Point Mugu, California

GDIT is seeking an Information Security Analyst to help support the Cybersecurity Branch of Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA.

As an Information Security Analyst for the Cybersecurity Branch of NAWCWD, you will be responsible for ensuring the systems under your purview are kept current with regard to all security measures.

In this role, a typical day could include:

• Applying STIGs, patches, and software updates
• Running scans and reports
• Performing all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
• Assisting the customer and/or contractor teammates with building or maintaining security documentation, policy, or procedures

• Ba/Bs (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Experience with DoD IT networks or systems
• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
• Experience mitigating network vulnerabilities
• 1+ years experience

• Ability to communicate to senior level personnel
• Ability to solve complex problems
