Junior Java Developer (Clearance Required)

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph required

As a Junior Java Developer, you will maintain and provide enhancements for a large suite of SIGINT analyst and developer tools, including both UI and backend solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience with a variety of java tools and offers excellent mentorship opportunities. The work environment is casual and team oriented; it offers new high speed equipment and lots of developer tools including all the IDE’s and/or plug-ins you could ever want.

Responsibilities:

• Provide requested customer enhancements utilizing a modern, diverse tech stack
• Provide break/fix solutions for a large suite of software tools widely used by Intel and field data analysts and developers within an AGILE/SCRUM development environment
• Attend customer meetings and assist with task prioritization and scheduling
• Develop and maintain a variety of front and back-end software applications including data visualization, analysis, database connectivity, and Web based UIs

Requirements:

• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies is preferred
• Experience with Java/JDK, HTTP/Rest/WebSocket, HTML, CSS, React, Node/JavaScript/Typescript, and/or Docker
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6 months of professional experience via internships or post graduate work; 1 year of experience developing with java (professional or college projects)
