Job Description
Our client, a prefab design-build company, seeks a Construction Project Manager. This role requires a valid driver’s license with a car and the ability to drive to San Francisco Bay Area locations.

Product: Prefab Backyard Office, Studio & Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)


Reporting to: Founder/CEO


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare project status and schedule for management and clients
  • Ensure that the project scope is completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure all inspections and corresponding reports are performed, signed off, issued, and documented
  • Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and project team via email, in person, and on the phone
  • Coordinate internal construction crew and subcontractors for ADUs and Sheds
  • Maintain professional relationships with all parties, throughout the entire process, from permitting to job completion
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the project contract and scope
  • Collaborate with the sales team to review client expectations and confirm those expectations in client-facing communication


Requirements


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in sourcing and hiring subcontractors
  • A valid California Contractors License (GC B) is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Production and manufacturing project management experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency in inventory, budgeting, and cost control
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • A valid driver’s license with a car and the ability to drive to locations in the San Francisco Bay Area approximately 10 days per month
  • Strong people management and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using project management software (Procore, Clickup)
  • Proficiency in inspections and quality control
  • Excellent understanding of building code and technical construction technologies

  • Compensation: base $80,000-$100,000K, OTE (on target earnings) $100,000-$130,000K (commission from the finished projects)

Interviewing Process:


1 - 15-min video interview with the Founder/CEO
