Ideation Expert - Digital Ventures

Startup Sumatra is an initiative to develop a greenfield Startup ecosystem in Sumatra region of Indonesia with Batam Island (near Singapore) as center of action. Apart from seeking opportunities to invest in founders with their own product prototype, the initiative seeks to put together an in house Venture Builder to brainstorm ideas and create innovative digital ventures for the global markets.

This role is for creative thinkers in the developed startup ecosystems who have an inclination to encourage entrepreneurship in locations under-served and be part of the startups as fractional owners.

The Ideation Expert - Digital Ventures is responsible for generating and developing new ideas for digital products, services, and processes. They will work with cross-functional teams to gather insights, identify opportunities, and create innovative solutions that are aligned with the company's digital innovation strategy. The Ideation Expert will also be responsible for leading ideation workshops and facilitating brainstorming sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new ideas.
• Lead ideation workshops and facilitate brainstorming sessions.
• Track the progress of new ideas and measure their success.
• Communicate and present new ideas to stakeholders.
• Generate and develop new ideas for digital products, services, and processes.
• Conduct research and gather insights to identify opportunities for innovation in the digital space.

Qualifications:

• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Passion for innovation and creativity in the digital space.
• Certification in a related field (e.g., innovation, digital products, design, engineering, etc.)
• Many years of experience in ideation, innovation, or product development in the digital space.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
