Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list(s) or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will report to the Director of Personnel in Main Office; and in conjunction with Office of Human Resource staff, the incumbent will handle Region 1's Personnel-related activities.Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Prepare and process status change transactions for Regional employees, as necessary
• Assist with position classification, placement, and employee services for the purposes of staffingResponsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
• Assist with contract/disciplinary grievances for Regional Groups and Residencies, policy and contract interpretation
• Coordinate recruitment activities
• Manage the hiring process, which includes posting job vacancy announcements and managing eligible lists, TCI SharePoint onboarding, SFS offboarding, orientation reviews
• Provide guidance on time & attendance and leave issues
