Summary


The corporate human resources coordinator aids with and facilitates the Human Resources processes for all business locations. This role reports directly to the Senior Human Resources Generalist and provides internal support to all staff members of the Corporate Human Resources Department. 



 Job Responsibilities



Employee Experience


  • Ad hoc employee relations assistance in internal investigations, employee complaints, etc. 
  • Performs customer service functions by triaging internal and external HR related inquiries and provides applicable assistance via Corporate HR internal phone line and ticket system.
  • Re-direct internal and external HR related inquiries to appropriate Corporate HR team member or Company department.
  • Assists HR department with administrative tasks for all Employee Experience functions including onboarding administration, termination requests, performance reviews, progressive discipline, etc.
  • Provides general HR Support to all employees, escalating appropriately to internal Employee Experience team as applicable.



Unemployment Administration


  • Prepare and submit initial unemployment claims and wage audits in a timely manner through ADP Case Builder.
  • Unemployment fraud administration and response.


 Employment Verifications


  • Process employment verifications including written and verbal in a timely fashion.


Human Resources Administration


  • Act as liaison between HR department, third-party data administration vendor (Metriqe), and/or hiring managers and intervene when issues arise.
  • Maintain and audit electronic employee files for all non-executive and corporate employee files and performs other functions including HRIS data maintenance to ensure accuracy in employee data.
  • Assist with pre-employment and onboarding compliance items and audits (ex. Pre-employment drug-screening administration, immunization requirements, etc.) including compliance audits with federal, state, and local requirements (ex. California Sexual Harassment Training) as necessary.  
  • Oversee, review, and redistribute internal HR fax and incoming mail. 


QUALIFICATIONS


  • General knowledge of basic principles and terminology related to human resources functions.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective administration and people management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent with Microsoft Office Suite and related business and communication tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
