Role Summary:


The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing HR administration support for NBC Sports. Key responsibilities include processing workflows, maintaining critical HR data, responding to employee questions and providing support for project work. This position is also responsible for interfacing and problem solving with several business partners.


What You'll Do


  • Maintain and update personnel files, shared drives, and org charts
  • Prepare job requisitions for open positions & process posting requests
  • Process new hire and personnel actions for SAP data changes, promotions, timekeeper actions, termination paperwork, organizational changes, etc. through required work flow processes
  • Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies, and procedures
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to employees regarding payroll, benefits, employee perks, paid time off, and company policies
  • Run regular and ad hoc reports from HR systems in support of HR Business partners
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding for staff and freelancers
  • Create an environment of positive employee relations by keeping confidentiality and establishing trust and credibility with client base
  • Act as the primary liaison with several HR departments including Payroll and Benefits, to manage and resolve issues
  • Assist with program management for the NBC Sports Internship Program including headcount planning, managing referrals, and partnering with intern supervisors
  • Plan logistics for employee learning & development initiatives, trainings, focus groups, etc. including assistance with deck build-out, room reservations, and technology set-up
  • Assist in HR program rollouts such as performance management and compensation planning


Qualifications


What you'll need:


  • 1+ years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Eligibility Requirements


  • Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT a minimum of 3 days/week
  • Interested candidates must apply to be considered

  • Must be willing to travel for work related business if necessary
  • Must be willing to work overtime when required


This role has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
