HR Generalist II
Status: FT, Salaried/Exempt
Reports To: HR Manager
Location: Corporate Office
The HR Generalist II position exists to manage and oversee multiple HR systems to enhance daily business needs surrounding Compliance, Engagement, and Employment Relations standards. The HR Generalist II is responsible for “hands-on” day-to-day management of the transactional service delivery of operational support functions within multiple HR/HCM systems. The HR Generalist II is responsible for the daily interactions with current and former Team Members and Silverton Mortgage Management.
Responsibilities
Manage computerized flow of information/reports surrounding organizational needs and functions.
Partner with Director of HR on all aspects of HR including:
developing and maintaining personnel/workplace policies and procedures (ensuring all confirm to all laws affecting the workplace
work with Clayton legal as required for Lo Comp compliance
coaching leadership and team members ensuring support of organizational changes and business goals
Lead the development of and management of Performance Reviews within designated system: training new managers on functionality, best practices; auditing review to ensure timely completion; reporting; providing support for leadership and team members.
Serve a Silverton liaison to Clayton benefits for FMLA, leave, etc.; work with HR and payroll to ensure all benefits are appropriately applied; assist with annual benefits rollout
Secure approval of positions, codes, etc. for Silverton mortgage.
Develop job descriptions, perform job evaluations and analysis
Collaborate with managers on job descriptions, level assessments, and salary options for new and existing positions
Manage transactions within Silverton Mortgage HR to include processing of transfers, promotions, demotions, etc.; providing insight to leadership on reporting structure, positions; collaborating with managers on department and position updates along with best practices on implementation/transfers
Summarize data for state audits as well as HR functions
Updating organization chart as required
Champion Silverton’s culture.
Maintain flexibility and a positive attitude toward innovation and change
Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge, Experience
4-year college degree required
5+ years’ experience in HR related fields
Previous HR project management experience preferred; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with different leadership needs
Knowledgeable in HR-related laws
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with solid computer skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently with time constraints
Great attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Technology Proficiencies
Strong ability in using MS Office Suite (Excel and Teams a must)
