Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist who is an employee champion and culture builder to join our HR team. As a HR Generalist you will be responsible for a wide variety of value-added HR services while partnering closely with leadership in the business line you support to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. Specifically, this position will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, help design metrics to track results, think creatively and objectively and be comfortable handling complex employee issues without immediate support from other People leaders. Under direct supervision of the VPHR, this role will also provide support and guidance to other members of the HR team. You will thrive in this role if you like combining your business acumen and HR experience while maintaining a high sense of curiosity and sense of humor.

In this role you will:
  • Job Analysis: Partner with HR and business leadership to conduct routine job analysis for new and existing positions.
  • HR Programs: Partner with our teams to plan, coordinated and deliver seamless human resources processes and programs across the organization.
  • Compensation: Work with HR and business leaders on compensation benchmarking to provide input and guidance based on relevant external and internal data
  • Performance Management: Oversee the annual performance management program for your business unit.
  • Benefits: Serve a resource to employees and leadership around leaves of absences and other benefit escalations.
  • Policies: Maintain employee policies and periodically review the organization’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with best practices and state, federal, and local guidelines.
  • Workday: Assist with recording and maintenance of employee personal information, compensation, performance reviews, policies, agreements, new hire and termination information and other information as required within the HCM system.
  • Employee Relations: Become a trusted resource for the organization by working closely with management and employees to provide advice on sensitive issues including but not limited to performance- and behavior-related issues, conflict management, interpretation of policies, coaching and development opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Produce and analyze various reports, metrics and KPIs.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Assist with programs to improve hiring and promotion of diverse candidates; education and training, discussions/webinars, etc. to broaden DE&I awareness throughout the organization.

  • Compensation: Range from $85,000 - $95,000, commensurate with skill level and experience

Ideally you will have:
  • Problem solving ability, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to learn and assimilate new information easily
  • High level of customer focus
  • Demonstrated conflict management, good judgement and diplomacy skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant corporate human resources experience
  • Ability to add value through change management; help pivot the culture and improve overall effectiveness of the business and teams
  • Understanding of employment law, regulations, policies, programs, and procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and execute with little supervision
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, Workday HCM highly preferred!
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible and agile in a rapidly growing company
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience (most recently as a HR Generalist) in a high growth, high performance environment
  • Diversity and Inclusion program experience
  • Strong preference for experience in staffing, consulting, or professional services industry
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently
