Senior Associate, HCMS & Compensation


W2 Only - No C2C, 1099 or Sponsorship


Position Summary

As a Senior Associate – HCMS and Compensation you play a critical role in managing our Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS) and compensation processes. This position is responsible for overseeing the HCMS platforms, ensuring data integrity, providing People analytics, and administering compensation programs. As a Senior Associate you will collaborate with various organization leaders, Finance, and other stakeholders to optimize People systems and processes, ensuring the organization's People data and compensation practices align with our strategic objectives.

Travel Requirements: Occasionally to attend business meetings, attend learning events and participate in conferences, seminars and other business meetings.


Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Systems, Human Resources, Auditing, Labor and Employment Law, Business or IT. Or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Some general Human Resources, Compensation, HCMS/HRIS, Labor and Employment Law, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Entrepreneurship, Private Equity, Finance, Auditing are all a plus.
  • PMI certification a plus; Expertise in Google, MS Office, SmartSheet and knowledge of HRIS/HCMS and Payroll Systems, CRM and other technologies.
  • 3+ years of service industry project management experience. 4+ years of experience in HRIS administration, compensation management, or HR analytics in a professional services environment. Solid understanding of HRIS systems and experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., [HRIS software]). Strong knowledge of compensation practices, salary structures, and incentive programs.
  • Internal/External Consulting highly desirable. Investment Banking, Private Equity, Financial Advisory or Auditing a plus.
  • Proficient in data analysis and HR reporting, using tools such as MS Excel, HR analytics software, or business intelligence platforms.
  • 4+ years of prior consulting experience a plus, experience with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring and/or succession planning very desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and integrity in handling sensitive HR data. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.


Salary range for this role is 90-110k on W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
