Overview


GRSi, a DLH company, is looking for a Human Capital Administrator to join our team. The Human Capital Administrator will perform a variety of administrative Human Capital duties.


Responsibilities


The Human Capital Administrator will work closely with Human Capital Management, Talent Acquisition, Program Managers, and clients to provide Human Capital and administrative support throughout the organization. Specific duties will include, but not limited to the following:


  • Support New Hire onboarding process to include I9 verifications, and verification of drug and background check complete.
  • Process External Resource onboarding, if applicable.
  • Assist employees completing timesheets which timekeeping challenges occur.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Employee and Manager Exit Interview tracking.
  • Schedule New Hire Meet and Greet and notify applicable parties, if applicable.
  • Manage New Hire Notifications to the Government and the organization.
  • Provide support in the onboarding process to include monitoring New Hire onboarding progress within the Human Capital Information System.
  • Assist in processing employee salary increases, promotions, and transfers.
  • Uploading and maintaining all documents in electronic filing system, if applicable.
  • Serve as the point of contact for processing assigned rewards and recognition programs.
  • Participate on and support Human Capital Agile Teams as needed.
  • Continuously serve as a point of contact for routine employee questions and provide guidance on policies.
  • Support activities designed to reinforce positive employee relations and morale.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and send first day instructions to new hires.
  • Assist in managing the HR inbox and responding to employee inquiries, if applicable.


Qualifications


Qualifications:


  • High School diploma, plus advanced training in Human Resources, and 2 – 3 years of relevant Human Resources experience.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • HRCI or SHRM-CP certification (PHR or SHRM-CP).
  • Minimum of 30 semester credit hours from an accredited college or university towards an Associate's degree with coursework in Human Resources/Personnel Management, Organizational Development, Business/Public Administration, Psychology, or closely related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Ability to perform Human Capital functions and procedures such as HRIS actions, records and database management, and employee development.
  • Outstanding communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and a proactive drive to take initiative to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate respect and sensitivity when handling inquiries from employees, managers, and external parties.
  • Ability to be flexible, cooperative, responsive, and demonstrate a customer service focus.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Human Resource Information Systems.


Basic Compensation: $49,000 - $55,000/yr


The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity. DLH may offer other rewards that may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. An applicant’s salary history will not be used to determine compensation.
