KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare employee offer letters, promotion or job change letters, using mail merges and software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and DocuSign
  • Review HR policies and update as needed, in partnership with HR subject matter experts
  • Identify and execute improvements to processes and workflows in partnership with the HRIS team and other key stakeholders
  • Partner with the Benefits team to advise and inform employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, policies, and statutory provisions.
  • Support our People team partners and employees with questions and inquiries about programs
  • Work closely with cross-functional HR teams to ensure the timely execution of employee transactions in Workday and other HR systems
  • Maintain accurate information and updates to the HR department's intranet page
  • Perform audits of data and workflows to ensure accuracy
  • Review employee data to ensure accurate reporting and smooth integration between systems
  • Provide seamless and client-focused support to employees, respond to questions and resolve issues timely, throughout the employee life-cycle
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
  • Support the end-to-end processing of key employee lifecycle events, including onboarding/offboarding and compensation and benefits tasks while partnering with HRIS, Operations, and Payroll teams
  • Participate in executing processes to enable the delivery of key total rewards programs such as open enrollment, program audits, equity file creation, and compensation reviews


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Workday experience preferred
  • 2+ years of full-time work experience in a business environment such as Human Resources, Finance, or Operations
  • Must be able to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, possess decision-making skills, and demonstrate team work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Documents and Sheets
  • BA/BS required
  • 1+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, processes, and systems a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must demonstrate the ability to take initiative, be detail-oriented, and be self-motivated
  • Must be well-organized and detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills


Additional Information

Reporting directly to the Head of HR Operations, the HR Business Analyst / Operations Specialist will work cross-functionally with HR team members and other key stakeholders to coordinate end-to-end processing of employee lifecycle events, including the timely and accurate processing of employee onboarding/offboarding and compensation and benefits related transactions. This role will help to establish new processes and implement improvements to existing processes and partner closely with the HR team to promote a smooth and positive employee experience that ensures data integrity across systems. The HR Operations Specialist will have the opportunity to grow their professional experience while working with, and being supported by, seasoned HR professionals. The HR Operations Specialist should possess strong organization skills, have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, take initiative, and follow through on requests until completion. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, approaches the work with a problem-solving mindset, and has a keen attention to detail.


For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $67,320 to $106,220. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
