Job Description
ProAmpac is currently seeking an On-site Human Resources Manager with manufacturing experience for our Auburn, WA facility. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible to maintain, support and enhance the location's talent, culture, and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. They will have responsibility to oversee the execution of HR processes, policies, and programs personally or through a team.


Position Overview


  • Identify training and development opportunities and support the implementation of improvement plans through coaching and feedback
  • Evaluate current and future workforce needs using data analytics
  • Provide HR leadership and day to day support for designated location
  • Support ProAmpac culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication
  • Ensure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy
  • Actively support and maintain health and safety program
  • Administer risk management of occupational and non-occupational injured worker process, workers' compensation and ADAAA compliance
  • Provide input to and support ProAmpac total rewards, compensation, and benefit programs
  • Responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention of ProAmpac employees while following all federal, local and company requirements
  • Oversee the execution of the performance management process

Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000 DOE

  • HR experience in a manufacturing setting required
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or organizational development from a four-year college; or five plus years related experience and / or training in a manufacturing organization; or equivalent combination of the two. SHRM certifications a plus.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
