Job Description
A services organization in California has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new HR Generalist.


Responsibilities


The HR Generalist (Remote) will:


  • Attend and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conduct or acquires background checks, drug screens, and employee eligibility verifications
  • Assist the Recruitment team with onboarding the qualified job applicants for open positions
  • Work on HRIS system to create streamlined processes and ongoing process improvement for the People team
  • Review, track, and document compliance with including employment relations, leave, safety training, anti-harassment training, exams and certifications
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources activities, including compensation, benefits, and leave
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and Talent Management Systems
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient
  • Thorough knowledge of Employment-related laws & regulations
Desired Skills:


  • 1+ year of Human Resource Management experience
  • SHRM-CP
