About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team in our Chelsea, New York location to assist in providing a wide range of HR support! Responsibilities include:

• Develop relationships with business leaders through 1:1's on a regular basis.
• Understand and apply local legislation, specifically NY wage & hour laws.
• Conduct onboarding and offboarding paperwork and exit interviews while maintaining employee files.
• Prepare and lead various trainings, new hire orientation, and employee events.
• Coach managers and employees to take on challenging conversations.
• Support through the performance cycle and investigate employee concerns.
• Create, implement, and document HR programs and policies.

What We’re Looking For

• Nice to Have: Experience working with ADP Workforce Now
• 2-5 years of experience in HR Administration or HR Coordinator positions
• Experience working with employee benefits
• Problem solving skills and ability to critically think
• Moderate experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Attention to detail
• Nice to Have: PHR or SHRM certifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Communications or HR
• Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion

Compensation: Our Target Hiring Range for this position is $60,000-$80,000. Please note that this range is based on work location, experience and alignment to requirements of the role.
