How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Summary: The HR Generalist is responsible for providing human resources services, business partner support and executing human resources project work. In order to support assigned groups, the HR Generalist will work across multiple activities of the HR function including but not limited to positive employee relations, compensation, training, talent management, HR Compliance and special projects. The HR Generalist assists with executing change initiatives across the business related to talent and HR strategy. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for improving and optimizing current HR processes to make them more effective and actionable for the business.

  • Act as the first point on contact for Workday cases, providing a positive experience to users
  • Conduct non-exempt interviews and exit interviews, summarize outcome and recommendations.
  • Provide first-level support for employee requests and employee relations issues such as employee complaints, investigations, preparing outcome documents and providing recommended actions.
  • Lead associate onboarding process, ensuring effective execution by managers; work closely with hiring managers with a focus on successfully integrating and retaining associates.
  • Lead and execute a standardization of job description project: gather existing job descriptions, reformat and ensure key information is included, ensure quality assurance and relevance with the business.
  • Develop strong trusted partnerships with business leaders, acting as advisor and partner in the areas of talent management, employee relations, performance and development coaching & counseling.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field.
  • Entry level understanding of HR principles and practices, including but not limited to, FMLA, LOA and Worker's Compensation
  • Advanced knowledge of the Excel or Google Sheets (creating formulas, X/V lookup, pivot table creation)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Workday a plus
  • Project management experience a plus
