Job Overview:
The HR Business Coordinator reports to the MBNAC Head of HR, supporting the assigned departments within the MBNAC organization. This individual will consult and support HR processes, policies, and applicable systems. As the customer facing HR Business Coordinator, this person will work with employees, managers, SR. Managers/Executives on consultative, preventative and problem solving resolution to a variety of HR issues and services, including, but not limited to culture, retention, and development.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR support and guidance to assigned internal clients; consult on practices, policies, and procedures. Serve as a liaison with MBFS, MBUSA, and MBNAC on topics such as compensation, benefits, payroll, recruiting, development, diversity, and employee communications.
Coordinate department initiatives relative to business objectives including, but not limited to, customer experience, culture strategy, leadership development, succession planning, and process efficiencies.
  • Create corporate communications to ensure delivery of relevant content, and partner with appropriate departments as needed for relevant content (e.g. work with MBFS Corporate Communications, etc.). Handle interdepartmental communications- announcements of new personnel, etc. Work closely with IT department to ensure appropriate systems access and testing as it relates to the areas supported by either HR or HR Shared Services.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to leadership on complex HR or organization related topics to completion. In addition, will keep the Head of HR informed of activities as it pertains to this role, while also coaching and mentoring the junior level staff.

  • Customer-facing HR support for on-boarding meetings, employee and manager concerns and inquiries. Support recruitment initiatives, while collaborating with HR Shared Services as appropriate. Apply strong attention to detail to processes, policies, data, documents, and use of HR or job related systems (HCM, Payroll, L&D, etc).
  • Conduct needs analysis for training to meet business needs of the organization. Coordinate department activities and assist in the development and execution of performance management strategies around learning, PPVM, external training, DISC, etc.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Required (Business, Management, HR Focus)
  • Ability to create and present to a variety of different individuals such as leaders in roles at the Sr. Manager level and above
  • Experience with leading teams (People and Projects)
  • Consistent ability to follow through on commitments, timely delivery of work, and perform tasks concisely
  • Experience with MS Office suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • 3+ years’ experience working in HR or a Shared Services Model
  • Experience mediating or consulting on difficult and complex HR or customer topics under stress
  • Taleo Applicant Tracking System, PeopleSoft, and Ceridian DayForce experience - Highly Preferred
  • High-level attention to detail and comprehension of complex HR related topics
