Job Description

We are currently hiring a HR Business Partner in Boston, MA.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedule.

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) works with leaders and coworkers to drive business results that are in line with the Boston Beer Company Mission, Vision, and Values and strategy. The HRBP will partner with BBC leaders to establish, lead and coordinate efforts which positively impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of talent as well as maintain the company’s strong culture. This role will mainly support corporate functions with flex to support others as needed.

What You'll Brew :

  • Establish strong and effective working relationships with internal and external customers to promote and support positive employee relations, company culture and coworker engagement efforts
  • Create and facilitate training programs as necessary
  • Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department/organization
  • Provide guidance on Company policy as outlined in the Coworker Handbook and in accordance with all BBC policies and procedures
  • Deliver comprehensive employee relations support utilizing consulting, coaching, counseling, and influencing skills
  • Help maintain accurate and up to date Job Role library
  • Drive and support all performance management, talent management, and talent development programs for internal customers
  • Assist coworkers and managers by handling P&C related questions, policies, and helping resolve employee relations issues as needed
  • Conduct exit interviews, share feedback, highlight trends
  • Develop and lead execution of P&C programs that support departmental objectives. Programs should positively impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of talent as well as maintain the company’s strong culture.

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with and affinity for employee relations
  • Exceptional consulting, coaching and feedback skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR laws and regulations
  • Ability to influence without formal authority by building positive working relationships and partnerships
  • Strong proficiency in all MS Office programs
  • 3+ years of generalist/business partner level HR experience is strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR Certification
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
