Position Overview

Our Dispatcher is the housekeeping courier of our hotel! Though skillfully trained, they never lose sight of their ultimate reasonability, to create lifelong memories for our guests. The primary function of the Housekeeping Dispatcher is to maintain general upkeep of designated section, fulfill guests requests in an orderly and timely manner, efficiently facilities the housekeeping operation through proper telephone etiquette and administrative responsibilities and consistently maintains all DC standards of quality and service.

As a Housekeeping Dispatcher at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will $23.18 per hour.

What you'll do

A day in the life of our Housekeeping Dispatcher … it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Housekeeping Dispatcher accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

  • Our Housekeeping Dispatcher are responsible for reading and following up on all requests on log book. Ensures that key and radios distribution and inventory is consistent. Records and updates employee attendance on a daily basis. Performs basic clerical assignment when needed. Ensures that all turndown attendants caddies are properly stocked.

  • Our Housekeeping Dispatcher maintains accurate and concise reports i.e. traces, departures, in-coming calls, work tickets the organization and cleanliness of the Housekeeping office. Prepares the following day schedule by comparing with forecast. Reports maintenance work tickets according to procedures.

  • Sometimes our guests have special requests involving “Rush” rooms service and special request and informs the Supervisor of their priority. Most of these requests are fulfilled by our Housekeeping Dispatcher.
  • Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Housekeeping Dispatcher are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Housekeeping Dispatcher must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

The physical ability to stand and or walk continuously. Sitting, reaching, listening, communicating for an extended about of time, up to 8 hours. The physical ability to climb, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously. The physical ability to occasionally climb on a ladder to heights in excess of 12’. The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat and work above the shoulders during the performance of the daily job routine. The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping and fine manipulation. The physical ability to continuously carry up to 20 pounds of weight both on flat surfaces and up and down stairs for distances of up to 150 feet.
