The Indo-Pacific Regional Operations Department (N254) in the MITRE Joint and Services Center is seeking a highly motivated candidate with great organizational, management, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills to help administer the department and Honolulu site. This position requires onsite support to the leadership team in Hawaii and includes working in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary MITRE team supporting several government sponsors on island.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Track incoming company visitors to the island and coordinate local social events for senior visitors
  • Manage reservations for the site conference room and spaces
  • Help to maintain the departmental SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites
  • Collaborate with HR representatives and department leadership team to manage the hiring process from interview scheduling to on-boarding
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence and maintain electronic records, correspondence logs, and archives as necessary
  • Help manage the Honolulu site to include ordering office supplies and software, restocking food and beverages, managing deliveries, and caring for office equipment
  • Work collaboratively with other administrators and provide backfill to other administrators during times of absence and peak loads


Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma, and 5 years of related experience and relevant work experience
  • Candidate must possess an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance for access to classified information and spaces.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Be a team player with the ability to work effectively and tactfully with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize work under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge and experience with the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and collaborative tools


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Ability to provide technical editing support to materials generated by staff
  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Previous experience supporting a large, dynamic, fast-paced team
  • Associates of Applied Science (AAS) in administrative assistance
  • Previous Experience in a technical oriented organization
