Overview
Help Desk Specialist
Come join the Nikola Motor’s Information Technology Team as a Helpdesk Specialist on site at our Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. Our team culture emphasizes collaboration, communication, and commitment to help us reach our goals in a dynamic startup environment.
Please note that although this role is based out of our Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ., there will be occasional travel to support our Coolidge location. Requiring about 10% travel.
We work in a field where the technology is changing daily, but that technology will forever change the world as we know it. Get to know a team and a culture who are learning and discovering daily, and who are developing the technology that everyone will know by name in 5-7 years.
Responsibilities
  • To be comfortable speaking to end users in a professional manner
  • Set up laptops and desktops according to our standard configurations
  • Troubleshooting user issues related to laptop, network, conference room A/V, and related requests
  • Willingness to learn, take direction and act
  • Performing System Testing and Updates as directed
  • Resolving Information Technology (IT) Support Requests as needed
  • Ensure each of our end-users have a positive experience with our team, and their technology needs each day
To be successful in this role you’ll need:

Qualifications
  • Familiarity with user administration in the Microsoft O365 productivity suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Experience with Active Directory Account creation and administration
  • A minimum of a high school diploma is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 1-3 years of IT Service Desk experience in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams in a corporate environment
Additional Profile Characteristic Preferred:
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Self-starter, team-player and a collaborative personality
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
