Helpdesk Specialist

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform on-site on a regular basis.
  • Provide effective communication/teamwork with Helpdesk and Desktop Team Leads and OCS staff concerning any helpdesk ticket problems or need of assistance.
  • Submit biweekly reports to OCS manager.
  • Maintain computer equipment storage space in computer room.
  • Handle/manage computer equipment moves from workstation cube/office to another.
  • Assist with troubleshooting desktop computer connectivity problems.
  • Provide support for resolving printer problems and changing toner cartridges for personal and network printers.
  • Monitor daily Helpdesk ServiceNow tickets assigned to Helpdesk Coordinator to address/resolve.
  • Assist with unboxing computer equipment as assigned.
  • Install other peripherals such as smart carder, desktop scanner, etc.
  • Install computer equipment and remove PCs for new and departing users.
  • Attending Branch Meetings.
  • Provide WebEx support for helpdesk tickets (i.e., assist users with getting connected to WebEx, assist with BEA All Hands meeting).
  • Assist with excess computer equipment (transport equipment to warehouse for excess pickup).
  • Provide support for Hybrid Work Environment Conference Rooms; rooms are integrated with MS Teams and WebEx.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school or GED, some college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience providing help desk support to onsite and remote clients. A+ desirable
