Sourcebooks is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician working with the goal of providing outstanding customer service. This position is for someone who is highly skilled in troubleshooting, installations, and supporting client computer systems and applications to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. We're looking for someone who excels at producing creative solutions to technical issues and desires to make an impact on the team!
- Support a mixed environment of OSX and Windows.
- Set up new user computers and workstations using the guidelines for a successful on-boarding.
- Monitor backups on a weekly basis to ensure they are running as scheduled.
- Provide Level I support to end users, managers and staff.
- Monitor Help Desk queues and take client calls.
- Create knowledge base articles for common issues.
- Set up webinars and company meetings.
- Create backup jobs and schedules as necessary.
- MCSA/MCSE/MCITP/Linux + certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong planning, communication and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to document processes and procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years working in an Active Directory environment with Exchange.
- Minimum 1 year working in a 200+ user environment.
- Ability to display independent judgment with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent client service and communication skills
