We are currently looking for a Entry Level Help Desk Analyst to join our team at our Holmdel, NJ Location. The position would be responsible for providing support to all computer users in the organization and being the first contact for phone and email support request as well as following through on all requests to the point of resolution.


Responsibilities


  • Communicates and follows up with appropriate personnel regarding problems
  • Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this positio n
  • Identifies and reports trends and identifies areas for improvement
  • Solves problems utilizing established protocols
  • Fills in time not resolving problems with other task
  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage call load
  • Maintainsand stays current with technology especially as it applies to company systems
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
  • Acts as a liaison with other IT personnel to resolve issues
  • Interfaces with outside vendors to resolve problems
  • Participates in after hours support rotation


Qualifications


  • Excellent verbal communication skills especially phone skills
  • Ability to travel to organization’s multiple locations as needed
  • 1+ years work related experience
  • Proficiency in all computer systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma required; post high school education in the IT field preferred


Working Conditions/Physical Demand : Ability to work at computer for scheduled shift; must be able to work on a set time schedule to meet support hours; heavy phone use; capable of lifting and moving computer equipment; required to drive to branch offices
