About The Opportunity

• Located in the Bronx, New York, our client is currently looking for a Construction Superintendent with a background in MTA work.
• Our client is a growing heavy civil contractor in the NYC Metro area, who consistently bids on and wins a diverse portfolio of projects for the MTA. They are looking to grow their yearly sales by a large factor over the next few years, and are bringing on talented individuals to lead this process!

Construction Superintendent Responsibilities

• Works with crews, field engineers, and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on job sites
• Performs additional assignments per Management's direction
• Reviews and understands project specifications to support job setup activities
• Maintains knowledge of Company values and strategic plans
• Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs, and work schedules for assigned project work
• Supervises sub-contractor production and workforce regarding assigned project work

Construction Superintendent Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Heavy Civil Construction Experience Required
• Strong Written/Verbal and Presentation Communication Skills Required
• Prior experience working for the MTA, AMTRAK, LIRR, or Metro North is preferred
• Certifications and/or Licensing Requirements

130000-175000+ DOE
