Summary/Primary Role:

The Warehouse Manager is accountable for oversight of Brightcore's product inventory, purchasing, receiving, distribution of products, and warehouse processes. This role will involve oversight of the warehouse team and will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, proper organization of inventory, and maintaining processes in adherence with best practices. Lastly, this role is responsible for communicating effectively with internal and external clients regarding product needs, information, and delivery information.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitors workflow and ensures proper inventories are pulled and delivered on time.
• Other duties and assignments as assigned.
• Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment.
• Leads in-bound and out-bound inventories of merchandise, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of products.
• Creates systems and controls to build out proper inventory and warehouse management cadence system aligned with industry best practices.
• Tracks, reconciles, and orders product inventories for Brightcore to effectively fulfill client needs.
• Appropriately manages talent by hiring, coaching, and developing Brightcore employees.
• Communicates with affected internal and external clients regarding any delays or issues that may affect client deliveries as well as discussing alternative product needs where required to meet client demand.
• Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, and pulls products and ensures that work is completed using safe practices.

Qualifications:

• Office 365 Proficiency including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Word
• Experience developing and implementing a warehouse inventory management system.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics preferred.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Minimum one (1) year experience with a forklift, hand jack, and hand truck
• Must be able to work in all climates and environmental conditions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory management, or similar.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has supervisory oversight.

Expected Hours of Work:

An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (40) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled.

Travel Requirements:

• Limited local NY travel as needed.
