Site Superintendent Jobs

We are seeking a qualified Site Superintendent to join our growing team in the New York area.
The successful candidate should civil and site services experience as well as 5 plus years of experience in the construction industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Manage RFIs, submittals, schedule, budget, scope and other project documents through our project management software (Procore)
· Act as the primary contact with the subcontractor team throughout the duration of the project
· Conduct periodic meetings with key project stakeholders to report on progress
· Proactively communicate project risks and proposed mitigations
· Facilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, key stakeholders, and external users to ensure responsibilities are efficiently, accurately, and effectively communicated and understood by all concerned
· Always maintain clear communication with the project team
· Develop and maintain project schedules utilizing MS Project
· Supervise construction progress and report accordingly
Essential skills and abilities:
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, in various phases, at one time
· Effective communication and problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently, take initiative and follow through on assignments with minimal direction
· Ability to use Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is highly preferred
· Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore & Bluebeam
· Ability to review and fully comprehend MEP drawings and reports. Comment and suggest potential improvements for smoother project implementation, minimal disruption, phasing, and potential impact on other infrastructure components
· Strong communication and time management skills
Education & Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of industry relevant experience
· MEP knowledge
