Our top client is in need of a strong accounts payable person for their growing firm-

Primary Responsibilities Of Accounts Payable

• Track outgoing payments
• Analyze accounts
• Assist with audits
• Maintain accurate records
• Pay vendors and service providers
• Reconcile bank statements and payment records
• Ensure payment credits are applied correctly
• Review Invoices and AIAs against contracts and approved Purchase Orders
• Review vendor and service provider agreements
• Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments

Required Skills And Expertise For Accounts Payable

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, and accepted accounting principles
• Strong ability to be detail oriented and work with a goal of precision
• Experience in Real Estate Development, Real Estate Management, and/or Construction preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint at a minimum
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience with accounting management software or Yardi a plus
• Experience with Yardi is required
• Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
