Healthcare Data Warehouse Analyst ETL (Technology Specialist II) - Digital and Technology Partners - 100% Remote
Mount Sinai is looking for a Healthcare Business Analyst with Data Warehousing/ETL Skillset and will be responsible for maintaining and managing new existing MSHP data marts and data feeds on the cloud Ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Uses a hands-on approach to provide solutions and will follow standard project lifecycle and development methodologies
- Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to cloud ETL architecture.
- Develop best practices and routines to ensure for the data accuracy and integrity.
- Effectively analyzes, troubleshoots issues, defects encountered in applications and follow-up with vendor support team on product defects.
- Monitor and Manage existing data mart and data feed routines/ETL Jobs.
- Perform data evaluation, data profiling, identification of potential problem areas and make the appropriate recommendations.
- Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements.
- Good at working with the business systems architects and application developers to streamline data governance, data cleansing, data normalization and usage patterns.
- Assess business requirements for completeness and accuracy.
- Work on Analysis of requirements and design solutions to meet the business requirements. Provide design proposals following best practices considering data, business and service layers for all system changes such as defects, business impacts, work prioritization and estimation.
- Developing code using various ETL tools and reporting tool -Tableau and review all the code along with unit testing.
- Worked collaboratively with different teams to smoothly slide the project from various environments to production.
- Is able to do ADSF scripting to do basic data movement and queries.
- Producing requirements gathering and writing functional specifications.
- Perform ETL Jobs debugging and bug fixing. Add enhancements to the existing ETL Jobs as business demands
- Monitor and Manage ADT HL7 and CCD data Feeds.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills; outstanding verbal, written and visual presentation skills.
- Solid working experiences on Health care standards like HL7,CCD and FHIR, and Coding systems(like ICD,CPT etc).
- Solid working experiences on RDBMS concepts, SQL Queries and Performance tuning.
- Solid working experiences on Data Warehouse, Data Modelling and ETL Concepts.
- 5 plus years of experience in Healthcare Industry especially on Provider domain.
- Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to work independently, establishing strategic objectives, project plans and milestone goals.
- Solid experience in Designing and developing Data warehouses and BI systems along with other data governance initiatives. Extensive experience for collecting business requirements from customers and aligning them with organization objectives and direction.
- Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations, structured thinker and effective communicator.
- Experience: 5 – 7 years responsible experience in a directly related area, in business analyst, systems programming, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $120,000.00 - $180,060.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
